Canada Day
12:50 am, July 2nd, 2006Well we survived the day without any problems. Maddie is fast asleep. I think we wore her out walking all over town. We did a lot today. Too much to write about now. Just sit back and enjoy the photos…
BBQ
10:53 pm, April 28th, 2006Well last Sunday Lisa and I threw a BBQ for our friends here at BBC. Jeff, Becky, Matt, Sabrina, and Dee came over. We had a good feed of burgers, hot dogs, steak, and pork chops. This was the last time this school year we were all together for awhile. Dee will be back over the summer a few times to feed her fish, and Jeff and Becky will be back in the fall. Matt and Sabrina will not be back though. Matt is doing his internship at a church in South Dakota and then will be done at BBC. Hopefully Lisa and I will be able to go and visit them sometime in the next couple years. I would love to drive out to SD since I have not been there in over 10 years and Lisa has never been. That would be a fun trip. Last night Lisa and I said bye to Matt and Sabrina since they were heading out early. Right about now they are somewhere in PA I think. Hopefully they will have a safe trip home. One good thing came out of Matt and Sabrina leaving though… we bought their LazyBoy off them that they bought when they moved here. So now we have two LazyBoys. Lisa and I enjoying the new chair greatly. Thanks Matt and Sabrina!
Matt and Sabrina if you are reading this you should have stayed two more days! Sully’s is opening this Sunday. Lisa is already planning on walking down to get some ice cream… We miss ya already! When everyone gets back this fall we will all have to take a walk down to get some ice cream.
Something I have not done…
1:31 am, March 24th, 2006Something I have not done since I was in the Hospital 11 years ago… I threw up tonight. After supper I felt really tired and went to bed for a little while. I was in a deep sleep and about 40 minutes into my nap I woke up coughing really hard and then I ran for the bathroom and projectile vomited into the toilet. I felt bad since Lisa was in tub at the time. I am just glad she did not thow up or go into labor then. That would have been really bad timing. I feel a lot better now though. Well after doing that I thought of something from when I was a kid… Garbage Pail Kids. Take a look at the two I found online. One has my name and the other is just how I felt for a little while tonight. Enjoy!
Goodbye S-10 and Outback
3:57 pm, March 10th, 2006Well a couple days ago Lisa and I drove the S-10 to Moncton and picked up the Outback. Anyone that knows us will know what a pain the Outback has been. The truck on the other hand worked great. Well with a baby on the way we needed a reliable car. Our cousin Dale Bremner helped us find a great car at a great price. We traded in the S-10 and the Outback for a 2005 Nissan Altima. I am missing my truck but not the Outback. It will take some adjusting to do since I have driven a truck for the last 11 years. Hopefully someday I will be able to get another. As soon as I get a photo of the car I will post it.
