Something I have not done…
1:31 am, March 24th, 2006Something I have not done since I was in the Hospital 11 years ago… I threw up tonight. After supper I felt really tired and went to bed for a little while. I was in a deep sleep and about 40 minutes into my nap I woke up coughing really hard and then I ran for the bathroom and projectile vomited into the toilet. I felt bad since Lisa was in tub at the time. I am just glad she did not thow up or go into labor then. That would have been really bad timing. I feel a lot better now though. Well after doing that I thought of something from when I was a kid… Garbage Pail Kids. Take a look at the two I found online. One has my name and the other is just how I felt for a little while tonight. Enjoy!

90th Celebration!
12:46 am, March 13th, 2006This morning at my grandmother’s church, Pastor Mark had a social time following the service for grammie. Lots of pictures were taken and birthday cake was shared. Today after church Troy and I drove home to Bristol for my grandmother’s 90th birthday celebration. Troy surprised me by taking me home! I have been quite uncomfortable the past couple of weeks of my pregnancy. No one knew we were coming as it was a total surprise to everyone, especially grandma! Mom’s sisters Joyce (and her husband Lynn) and Sharon came to celebrate with my immediate family. It was really nice to see my family and to have the opportunity to share this wonderful day with my gram! We enjoyed pizza, garlic fingers, threee cakes and ice cream. Yummy! Grammie received lots of nice gifts, but I think she appreciated the fact her family was together the most.
Maddie received some more gifts from Nana and Papa while we were at home. Aunt Joyce and uncle Lynn also brought gifts for Maddie. They didn’t know we would be present for grammie’s party either. I was really glad to have gone home not only to celebrate gram’s 90th but also because I hadn’t seen my family since Christmas. Mom and Dad got to see me really pregnant! (I have only three weeks to go!) They also got to see our new family vehicle! We only stayed for a couple of hours, but it was well worth the three hour trip!

Drive to Fundy
9:46 pm, March 11th, 2006Well today Matt, Sabrina, Dee, Lisa and myself drove to Fundy National Park and Cape Enrage. On the way down I thougt the three girls in the back seat were going to get knocked out. Frost heave has done a real number on the raod and a few bumps had the girls hitting thier heads on the roof of the car. It was a really nice dy down at Fundy not much of a breeze and sunny some of the time. We walked around a bit in Alma and looked at some fishing boats siting high and dry since the tide was out. Matt climbed down on one of them and talked to some of the people on it for awhile. From there we went to Cape Enrage and walked around there and looked the lighthouse over. Then back to Fundy for some supper. We had a picnic lunch in a hutnick in the Headquartes Campground. On the way back to Sussex Lisa and I were the only ones awake in the car. I think everyone was tired from the little bit of walking we did.
Well here is a few photos from today… and the our new car looking a bit dirty from driving back roads.

Friday Night Out
1:12 am, March 11th, 2006Tonight Lisa and I went out on a double date with Fred and Melissa Whittier. They were down for a few days to visit thier families outside Saint John and gave us a call. We went out to eat at Swiss Chalet and then went and saw Date Movie. Fred and I laughed so hard and loud at times Lisa and Melissa said they wanted to get up leave. Tomorrow Lisa and I are off to Fundy National Park with Matt and Sabrina Pribyl. This will be the last “big trip” Lisa and I take with Matt and Sabrina before they leave to go back to South Dakota and Maddie is born. I hope the weather is nice.
The Car worked great tonight to and from Saint John in the rain and fog. We found two problems that will need to be looked at when the car gets undercoated this next Thursday. The center armrest is not closing right and when the drivers window shakes real bad when it is rolled down in the door. I hope these are just minor things and not the way this car is going go… even more so after the outback!

Goodbye S-10 and Outback
3:57 pm, March 10th, 2006Well a couple days ago Lisa and I drove the S-10 to Moncton and picked up the Outback. Anyone that knows us will know what a pain the Outback has been. The truck on the other hand worked great. Well with a baby on the way we needed a reliable car. Our cousin Dale Bremner helped us find a great car at a great price. We traded in the S-10 and the Outback for a 2005 Nissan Altima. I am missing my truck but not the Outback. It will take some adjusting to do since I have driven a truck for the last 11 years. Hopefully someday I will be able to get another. As soon as I get a photo of the car I will post it.
